The package to Boston somehow got lost in transit, so I emailed PGS. They immediately responded and sent out another package! I cannot say enough about their excellent customer service. I will definitely use them again!

The pretzels were developing mold by the time I opened them up....I was sad.....I got to wondering if I had opened them right away maybe that would not have happened. Dumb me.

If you do not want to eat them all on the day of arrival, we give directions to freeze and re-heat them. This is also why we need to ship pretzels within two days so they arrive to you fresh. Raised in Philly, but currently living in Los Angeles, I don't get to see family back east as often as I'd like. Especially during a pandemic! But when my pop-pop turned 98 and I couldn't celebrate with him, I wanted to send him something special. I sent the box with soft pretzels, Tastykakes, and Peanut Chews. He was so happy! He called and gushed about how nicely it was boxed and of course, the taste. He said he wasn't even sharing with the others in his independent living facility. If that doesn't tell you how good they are... Ha! It felt so great to be able to spoil him with something he loves but can't get right now. I'll always wish things were cheaper to ship (spoiled by Amazon Prime), but it's understandable and gets there FAST. Thank you, PA General Store!

I purchased a gift for my in-laws who live in Arizona for the holidays, but unfortunately the delivery service dropped the gift off to the wrong location. I contacted customer service and they sent a new package out a few days later. The gift still arrived before the holidays and my in-laws loved the soft pretzels! Everyone was so helpful and wanted to ensure that the order was made right. Despite the third party shipping company making a mistake, PA General Store came through and everything worked out. This was my first experience ordering from Pennsylvania General Store and I found they offered many different varieties of gifts, which was great. However, once I selected a gift (nothing too large), I added it to the cart and 2 day shipping via UPS to California $55.66 - that's highway robbery in my opinion. Shipping was more than the gift alone! With other companies offering free 2 day shipping, I would feel more inclined to shop here again if the shipping was more reasonable. At these rates, I doubt I will return to shop again.

Shipping is our greatest challenge especially for perishable products shipping from our fulfillment center in Philadelphia across the country to California. We have more competitive rates that UPS published rates. Bear in mind that all packages are shipped by dimensional weight as well as actual weight. I sent this to a friend who had recently lost three numerous people in her life. It's such a different gift other than your flowers or box of chocolates you send over. Since we go to school in philly and she lives in New York she doesn't have any of the philly beats by her. So it was nice to send her some philly love when I couldn't be with her due to the pandemic.

Thank You PGS! I ordered my son who lives in Salt Lake City a Philadelphia Picnic Party box. He loved it! When I go out to visit I always bring boxes of Tastey Kakes with me. This time he was able to get his favorite candy bar (Peanut Chews) AND Philly Soft Pretzels as well! What a wonderful surprise from back East!!

I was asked to send friend who moved to texas some good old philly pretzels that they missed so badly since I talk about them often because I eat them frequently so when they received the box of pretzels, butterscotch krempets and peanut butter tandy kakes they were very happy the package I was told came properly boxed with no damage

I shipped a few of the Philadelphia Picnic Party boxes to my home office in UT. Arrived as schedule and the pretzels, which were my biggest concern, were fresh as can be with salt and mustard on the side and instructions. What a huge hit!
