One of the best spice wafer cookies I have eaten. I will always remember having them in the fall and winter months growing up. Having found them on the PA General Store website a few years ago, I order these cookies several times a year. I have a neighbor here in Charlotte, NC that is from PA also and when I place my orders I always order some for him also. There are just some things you never forget from your younger years and Sweetzel's are one of them. I enjoy dunking them in a glass of ice cold milk. YUM!!!

They are FANTASTIC!!! I love these cookies and can't get enough of them. I gave some to friends of mine -- they went nuts and wanted to know where to get them. Even their 2 dogs were trying to get some! Thank you for having them year round! YUMMY

Growing up in Drexel Hill, and then raising our family in Gwynedd, boxes of Sweetzels Spiced Wafers kicked-off every holiday season while in the Philly area--Halloween thru Christmas. I've resumed that tradition the last few years, introducing the ritual to our extended family in NYC, West Hartford and Seattle. Enjoyed best with a 'milkshake-arama' on football Saturday afternoons, there's no better cookie in America!! So glad the Pennsylvania General Store has partnered with the good folks at Sweetzels. Go Dot's, Friars, 'Cats and Eagles!!!
A little bit of Philly sent to Alabama

My son recently moved from South Philly to Alabama and mentioned that "Fall means Sweetzels Spiced Wafers" and expressed how much he missed them. I got online and ordered them from the PA General Store. He received his order in two days and was pleasantly surprised when he opened the box. You made this Philly boy very happy!

Moving to Las Vegas meant we haven't been able to enjoy these cookies we grew up with in PA. It was wonderful to learn that we can have them delivered. Every "ginger snap" we've tried here is a very pale imitation.

Autumn doesn't happen without Sweetzel's Spiced Wafers. From the time I was a child, these have always meant October and November. When I was in the Navy, there was always at least one box in the care packages my parents sent me - no matter where I was during those 26 years. There have been a few years since I moved away from the Mid-Atlantic, but now that I can order them online I order enough for me (well, there really is never enough of them) and my Pennsylvania-native neighbor. They are THE BEST!

I grew up in Philadelphia and always enjoyed this time of year having Spiced Wafers. I am now 70 years old, lived all over the US but to this day I still order them. Nothing like a hot cup of tea and A spiced wafer to dip. They did get a bit smaller in size through the years but they still taste exactly as I remember them.

My mom would get these every year around Halloween, and nothing says home in PA like Spiced Wafers. Dunking them in milk is my fav way to eat, but they are just as good alone. Thanks for bringing back great childhood memories for this 60 year old. Looking forward to turning my Grandson (coming Jan 30, 2020) on to these. Gotta keep the Philly in a Nevada baby.

The Switzels have change since I lived in the Philadelphia area. The molasses content is different, there was not any soy in the original product and the size and look are different. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing anymore of these.

Reliving My Memories of Pennsylvania

When I was just a little kid we would have a box of Sweetzles Spiced Waffers and Winesap apples as our treat in the fall. It was the best taste, sweet and bitter. I remember going to Styer's Orchard to get the bushel basket of apples, taste some cider and beg our father to get some apple cider. He did and we all enjoyed crunching spiced waffers and winesap apples and cider. The smell of burning leaves, chilly Sunday afternoons and Bucks County farmland. I miss it.

Sweetzels Spiced Wafers are the perfect light after-dinner dessert. They have the perfect crunch texture and just the right combination of spice and sweetness. We order 5 boxes at a time and try to never be without them. We used to live within walking distance of Reading Terminal Market, so we miss some of the flavors of Philadelphia. Oh, how I miss Pennsylvania where I spent most of my life. I now live in Colorado in retirement. Many of my friends have also transplanted. Then, I discovered PENNSYLVANIA GENERAL STORE on line and now I can send Pennsylvania favorites to all my family and friends. Recently, sent Sweetzels Spiced Wafers to Florida and they were a perfect gift for an ex-Philadelphian. I see lots more to order, but first will come a soft pretzel order for this Pennsylvania-born lady. It truly is a Pennsylvania treat.

They were as delicious as I remember! I had purchased them years ago from Big Lots and got hooked on their excellent flavor. Instead of graham cracker, I've used them for making pie crusts. But I simply enjoy them with coffee or a nice cold glass of milk. And now that Fall has arrived I couldn't help but think of Sweetzels!

The only time I could get these Spiced Wafters were in the fall each year, when my parents would come to S.C. In May I went to visit my brother
