Made by hand in Lancaster County, Uncle Jerry's Pretzels have a completely different taste than pretzels twisted by machines. Hand made pretzels have a lighter texture and crisper crunch to them, because the dough is rolled and kneaded as opposed to being extruded under high heat and intense pressure from gigantic machines. Using a sourdough starter, Uncle Jerry's pretzels are fat, crunchy and full of salt. While we have no hesitation in recommending these pretzels, it is important to understand that the same qualities that make them delicious also make them more fragile. So if you have them shipped, expect them to arrive broken. But as no one, outside of my family, can eat a whole Uncle Jerry's pretzel in one bite, it shouldn't matter. Try them with Betsy Lantz's or Cherchie's dipping mustard. Flat Rate shipping not available

We have a friend from PA that gifted us coal fired pretzels. Loving them so much we searched and found nothing as good in our neighborhood. We found Uncle Jerry's pretzels on pageneralstore.com and are enjoying these crunchy pretzels!

As the child of a Pennsylvanian, I remember big tins of big hard pretzels. Through the years the quality fell and the price went up until eventually my family stopped ordering them. Uncle Jerry's pretzels are wonderful, maybe even better than the ones I remember as being the best. So crunchy, simple, tasty, and light - not something you have to gnaw your way into. Sheer enjoyment!

I first discovered Uncle Jerry's Pretzels in LA at a gourmet cheese/wine store. They couldn't keep them in stock, everyone loved them. So I decided to go right to the source and order lots of bags from PA General Store. They came well packed so not many were broken and I've been in heaven ever since! Love Uncle Jerry's!!!
