When I was young, my brother in law, who was from PA, would visit home yearly and bring a chub (of bologna) back to share. One of my fondest memories was when he would cut a 1/2 inch thick slab for me, pour a glass of chocolate milk, and I would chow down, enjoying every bite. This is one of those flavors you can close your eyes and go back, if only briefly. The soft tecture, fresh, sweet, smoky and salty taste are unique and perfectly balanced.

I got hooked on this product when I was 5 years old. An uncle from Chambersburg used to fly out every year to visit and he would always bring a 5lb roll to us. Used to get it at a little store near us, however he went out of business years ago. Until I found your site, we only got it when we went to PA to see relatives. Usually I had to have a cooler as I had to bring some home to friends.

Ever since the local grocery stores stopped carrying lebanon bolgona on the West Coast, this has been my go to order to bring a taste of home to Oregon - delicious!

I ordered the 5 pound sweet Lebanon Bologna and sent it to Seattle as a gift. The meat is delicious and is something they can't get out there. Unfortunately, the first order I sent I mistakenly sent by ground. It took 8 days to get there and was spoiled upon arrival. So, I had to send a second shipment which I sent by two day air. Pennsylvania General was very nice and gave me a break on the price of the second shipment. (But I still had to pay for two mailings....) I made the suggestion that they not accept ground orders for perishable items to keep people like me from making this mistake. I hope they change that option on line. Otherwise, wonderful product and nice people on the phone!
