My last name tells you that I am from the Lancaster County area of PA. I left PA in 1972 as a teenager and haven't had ANY Shoo Fly pie since then. Found your website one day and ordered two of your 10" pies (and some Lebanon bologna). It all came here safe and sound to our home in AZ. Been enjoying it with family ever since. This is my 4th order for my 85 yr old dad in Florida. Very fussy PA German Dutch man who says it is the best he has ever eaten. He cuts into pieces, freezes it, then takes it out the night before. High in iron, so healthy for him as well--I'm trying to fatten him up a bit. Well worth the shipping cost for a hard to find, tasty gift for the Shuffleboard King of the Villages!!

I work at an Engineering College and wanted to do something nice for the students. I left a message asking for ideas on what they would like. One of the responses was Shoofly pie. Though I had heard of it I had never tried it. I purchased two of them one for the students and one for my family. Wow these are the best pies ever. I will to be sure and order these again. They are really good warmed up with cool whip on top. They came packaged perfect and on time. Thank you so much.

My mom is from the Philadelphia area so I always try to travel down each year and get some of the Pennsylvania Dutch staples. This year of course was an exception so we ordered this pie. It looked a bit puny in the photo, but it is very substantial. For one person, it kept really well. I put the last couple of slices in the microwave, which was nice to have it warm.

Good pie!!! It gets better with each slice and warming up. I ate this pie because of an old song I looked it up online and it said the best pie in the states. So I tried it, it's the best pie with coffee but I prefer apple or cherry pie. It's very good it has an old fashion taste and feel.

My father was raised in shamokin PA, and our family always went there for family reunions and what not. We always got shoo fly pie, garlic bologna and wise chips oh and white birch beer. Pennsylvania's traditions foods. I loved it so much that after the family reunions stopped, we never went to Pennsylvania and my dad missed his shoo fly pie the most. When i found this place that has it ibeas overjoyed. I bought it for the 1st time here and had it delivered to my father's. I cannot express his excitement and how greatful he was to receive it. He said it was absolutely delicious and pray you never change baker's.. He's had not so great pies and this one was astonishing. We continue to order 3yrs later. Every father's day i order him 2 pies, within 2 weeks they are history... But he enjoys it so much. I do too. Please never stop baking them and please keep delivering. Thank you

Very, very good Shoofly Pie. When I first met my husband, he made a Shoofly Pie for me. I thought it was awful. But since he is originally from Pennsylvania, I was destined to have to try at family holiday events. I discovered the Pennsylvania General Store website, and reluctantly decided to order a Shoofly Pie. I must admit, I am hooked on this particular bakery and these pies.

After having many Shoo Fly Pies in my life.These are by far the BEST. I have been to Lancaster in my travels over 200 times and even with those travels and all the Pies these are still the best. All I can say is at least try it and get hooked.
