Wonderful to be able to purchase the best spiced wafers from my younger years here in NC year round. Great with warm apple cider but also with hot chocolate or just plain white milk. PA General Store supplies and shipping is fast and reliable.

Sweetzels are cookies that have less sugar, but more interesting, spicy flavor. Our local stores used to carry them but do not anymore. Pennsylvania General Store has made them reliably available and delivers promptly and undamaged.

Sweetzel's Spiced Wafers are a must have to start off the Fall/Winter Holiday Season. Also using these cookies instead of graham crackers for a pie crust makes the Best Pumpkin Pie ! And since 2020 has been such a weird year, comfort food has become a necessity!!

I grew up on these cookies, being from the Philly area. Every time I would go home (I live in Las Vegas) I would bring a box or two back. I order by the case and hand out boxes for Xmas presents, but usually eat them all myself. Such a beautiful spice flavor! I like them even better when they get stale, because then they soften up and just melt in your mouth!!! They're definitely a special treat!

At only 40 calories a cookie, Spiced Wafers are a delicious, crisp after dinner treat with a cup of hot coffee or tea, that won't ruin any diet. With many of the same flavor notes as ginger snaps, they don't have the strong bite.

How exciting to see the ad that the spiced wafers are available. From shopping with my mom and dad at Shop Rite in Stanton, Delaware to shopping with my children and then grandchildren and great grandchildren for this Fall treat always signaled the beginning of Fall. Beautiful golden leaves, a hot cup of tea or cold milk and Sweetzels spiced wafers in the iconic orange and black box----priceless. Now I live in Ohio and the grocery stores do not carry the brand. Thankfully, I can go online, order a case, share with our neighbors and mail to family. The first bite and I am a little girl again! So easy to order online and the Pennsylvania General store is very accommodating. Thank you for the memories and your delicious spiced wafers.
